Voluntary
military reunion planners and their guests have the opportunity
to enjoy a Reunion Conference with other reunion planners plus
a FAMiliarization Tour at selected locations. Each planner may
bring a guest to share the hotel room. Payment of registration
entitles the planner (and guest) to instruction and instructional
materials, a hotel room for three nights, meals during the period,
tours, attractions, attraction admissions fees, and local transportation.
NOT included are alcoholic beverages and souvenirs, unless freely
given by a sponsor or supplier. EACH ATTENDEE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR
TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE HOST SITE.
To
qualify, each participant must certify that he/she is a bona fide
volunteer reunion planner and is required to complete a profile
of the his/her group (the subscription form). The Host CVB, the
Host Hotel, and TRN each have the right to accept or reject any
potential participant without cause. Participants who do not attend
the Conference seminars are subject to charge for rooms and other
services.
WorkFAMs,
are held under the same general terms, but the first day starts
at 5:30PM with a reception, followed by a full day of work sessions
relating to contracts, and the third and final day devoted to
a FAM of the area. Hotel Room is provided for all three nights.
Participants must have previously attended a ConFAM. Graduates
may obtain Certification
as a Qualified Military Reunion
Planner by completing one additional requirement.
